Founder Spotlight: Lillian Nabea

This month, we’re excited to highlight Lillian Nabea, a talented graphic artist and the founder of Liana Printers, with multiple locations in Mombasa and her hometown of Meru.

Lillian joined the Africa 2100 community in April 2025, and she didn’t just join — she showed up. Within her first week, she boldly shared her entrepreneurial journey with the community at the Bi-Weekly Community Venture Showcase, inspiring many with her passion, confidence, and clarity of purpose. Her presence has been felt ever since as she consistently shows up and engages.

With years of hands-on experience in print and digital design, Lillian blends creativity with strategy to craft visual stories that meet both aesthetic and business goals. At Liana Printers, she leads creative projects, mentors young designers, and consistently delivers high-quality work in fast-paced environments.

In 2021, after waiting years for a salary increment that never came, Lillian made a bold decision: she resigned and started her own business. She describes herself as self-motivated, a go-getter, and committed to continual growth — qualities that shine through her work and engagement within the Africa 2100 ecosystem.

Lillian joined the community seeking knowledge, support, and opportunities to scale — and she continues to inspire others with her energy and dedication. She embodies the spirit of Africa 2100: bold, creative, and committed to building a better future.
