Last Saturday’s Africa 2100 Venture Showcase brought together a dynamic community of over 60 attendees—founders, creatives, investors, and ecosystem supporters—united by one goal: advancing Africa’s future through purpose-driven innovation.
Powerful Stories and Purposeful Pitches
The event opened with an electrifying performance by SoxThePoet, whose spoken word artistry captured the spirit of the gathering—resilience, purpose, and creativity in motion. His performance reminded everyone that transformation begins when passion meets focus.
Following the performance, three outstanding FRP Cohort Founders took the stage to share their ventures:
- Collince Ouma Migire (OUS Flex Furnitures – Kenya): Turning waste into stylish, eco-friendly furniture while creating local jobs and reducing environmental impact.
- Michael Ndue (HardTech Solutions – Nigeria): Making authentic, affordable laptops accessible to startups and developers through a subscription-based model.
- Michael Mengo (Soleil Energy – Kenya): Delivering affordable clean energy solutions to empower communities sustainably.
Each founder demonstrated exceptional clarity, purpose, and vision—showcasing how focused entrepreneurship can solve real challenges across the continent.

The showcase saw remarkable engagement, with attendees sharing enthusiastic feedback throughout. The live polls and chat reflected deep appreciation for the founders’ storytelling, the professionalism of the event, and the inspiration it provided.
